Archaeology on the Road follows the July 2013 RAGBRAI route. The 2013 route took cyclist through the towns of Iowa such as Council Bluffs, Harlan, Perry, Des Moines, Knoxville, Oskaloosa, Fairfield, and Fort Madison. This book highlights historic and prehistoric sites along this route.
