"Christmas in Iowa" details Christmas celebrations from families across the state, including the Amana Colonies, Danish community, Van Buren County, Mitchell County, Winneshiek County, Davenport, Marshalltown, Iowa City, Storm Lake, Waterloo and Cedar Falls. Varying Christmas traditions are shared, from farms to cities, from the homefront to across seas from soldiers fighting in WWI.
