The subject of this interview is Zinaida Eyestone, who discusses the differing language and culture between Bosnia and the United States. Zinaida Eyestone immigrated with her young daughter first to Chicago in 1996 and later to Waterloo in 1997. She moved to Waterloo to work for IBP and she rebuilt her life through the opportunity that the job provided. With support from the local Bosnian community she progressed quickly through the ranks. The language skills she developed in Chicago helped her become a supervisor at Tyson Foods which bought out IBP in 2001.
