This is a photograph of Hoyt Sherman and his wife Sara after their marriage. In 1855, Hoyt moved to Ohio and married Sara. The two went on to have seven children, of which five survived to adulthood. Hoyt Sherman died in 1904. Their children are not featured in this photograph.
