This telegram informed Claube and Leora Wilson of Dexter, Iowa, that their son, Dale, was Missing in Action. All five of the Wilson's sons joined the military and served during World War II. Dale joined the U.S. Army Air Forces and served as a copilot on a B-25 bomber. Wilson's plane was lost near New Guinea on November 27, 1943. The plane and the crew were never found.
