This photograph shows the scoreboard at the 1932 Olympic Games held in Los Angeles, California. The scoreboard shows the results of 110 meter high hurdles race. George Saling, a resident of Corydon, Iowa, won the Gold Medal for this race with a time of 14.6 seconds. Saling's name can be seen at the top of the results list. Prior to racing in the Olympics, Saling attended for the University of Iowa and won the NCAA Championship for the 110 meter hurdles.
