This portable chiropractor's table was used by Dr. Frank C. Luetkehans, a World War I veteran, when he was a student at Palmer College in Davenport. He then practiced from 1929-1975 in his New London home. During World War ll, he was appointed to the local Civil Defense Committee to educate the town on safely in event of an attack. Content can be used with the following standards: 4th grade SS 4.25 Technological Changes in a lesson on the medical advances of the early 1900s.
