Dr. Frank C. Luetkehans, a World War I veteran, received this diploma when he graduated from Palmer College in Davenport. He then practiced from 1929-1975 in his New London home. During World War ll, he was appointed to the local Civil Defense Committee to educate the town on safely in event of an attack. Content can be used with the following standards: 4th grade SS 4.25 Technological Standards in a lesson on medical advancements of the early 1900s.
