This photograph shows the Wodesky-Sklar-Lippman family, a Jewish family from Des Moines, Iowa, gathered for the Seder dinner, a Jewish ritual feast that marks the start of Passover and celebrates the Hebrew's liberation from Egypt. Several important pieces of the Seder dinner, including the matzo cover, are on the table. One of the family's children later married Julius Epstein, who operated Kiddieland Amusement Park in Des Moines.
