The face of this Confederate bill has the image of a large Capitol building, most likely the state house of Charleston, South Carolina with several figures standing around it. Along with this image is the portrait of man, Alexander H. Stephens, vice president of the Confederate States. According to the date on this Confederate bill, it was issued in 1863 on April 6th or in May. Taking these dates into account, along with the design of the bill itself, it is reasonable to suggest that this bill was part of the sixth authorization act of March 23rd, 1863. This act authorized the printing of $50,000,000 to be payable, "Two years after the ratification of a treaty of peace between the Confederate States and the United States."
