This camera is a spring-driven "Sept" model with a black metal housing and a removable square motor housing. Septs were made by the French company, Andre Debrie, and were in production in Paris between 1922 and 1927. The camera could take 18x24mm exposures on 35mm film. The Sept got its name from its seven functions as still camera, sequential camera, cine camera, still projector, cine projector, enlarger, and cine transfer machine.
