This photograph shows that Ringgold County Speedway in 1967. The track opened in 1957 as the Mount Ayr Race Track. In 1967, the Mount Ayr Jalopy Club held a contest to rename the race track. The Club chose the Ringgold County Speedway as the track's new name. The track held its last races in the 1980s.
