This photograph shows the German House Hotel located in Mount Ayr, Iowa. The hotel was sold many time between 1900 and 1920, but it kept the same name until 1925, when it was renamed the Lamb's Hotel by new owner Nate Lamb. The building was torn down in the 1950s.
