John Bloom was an Iowan Artist apart of the Stone City Art Colony near Anamosa, IA. During 1932 through 1969, Bloom worked as an industrial designer, drew and sold lithographs, drew illustrations for books, and was into the commercial art business. Pictured above are three replicas of John Bloom's sketchbooks he drew in for references to his oil paintings or inspiration after his retirement in 1969.
