This is an acrylic painting created by Waterloo artist Chaveevah Banks Ferguson in 2004. It represents a night the artist once had with friends and family in which times were good. The painting depicts people dancing in multicolored outfits on a dance floor beneath a disco ball. The scene is one of joy and entertainment. The artist currently lives in Waterloo and is involved in promoting the arts in the Cedar Valley area. The painting is also currently a part of the permanent collection of the Waterloo Center for the Arts.
