The Extension Service of Iowa State College was establish after the first extension act was passed by the Iowa State Legislature in April, 1906. Over the years, the extension service as grown into a large, complex organization that reaches out to numerous people every day, It also extends to every county in the state. This book tells the history of the Extension Services in it's first twenty-seven years of being an organization.
