This program was used during the 1932 Olympic Games that were held in Los Angeles, California, between July 30 and August 14, 1932. George Saling, a resident of Corydon, Iowa, participated in these Olympic Games and won the Gold Medal for the 110 meter high hurdles with a time of 14.6 seconds. Prior to racing in the Olympics, Saling attended for the University of Iowa and won the NCAA Championship for the 110 meter hurdles.
