This is a one-quart sized milk bottle made of amber glass that was used and distributed by the Cedarside Dairy company out of Waterloo, Iowa. This content can be used with the following standards: SS 4.25: Technological Change SS 4.26: Changes to Agriculture This item can be used to educate students about how the dairy products changed in response to greater improvements in bottling technology, as well as how the dairy industry in the rural Midwest transitioned into a more corporatized industry.
