This is a one-quart clear glass milk bottle used and distributed by the Mead's Dairy company. The lettering, "First thing every morning: Mead's Dairy - Since 1925" is printed on one side with an image of a rooster. This content can be used with the following standards: SS 4.25: Technological Change SS 4.26: Changes to Agriculture This item can be used to educate students about the transition from local sources of agricultural production to large industrial production during the 20th century, as well as how the technology which was used in agriculture changed in response to industrial advances.
