This book, titled Farm on the Hill, was written by Madeline Darrough Horn. It was first published in 1936. The plot follows two young boys named Bill and Tom on a family farm in the Midwest during the mid-1930s. When this book was published, it was instantly a hit due to Horn's notoriety and the illustrator Grant Wood.
