This is a drawing by the famous Iowan artist, Grant Wood, circa 1933. Grant Wood was born in Anamosa, Iowa. He was a very well known artist and a teacher at the University of Iowa. Grant Wood's most famous painting was the iconic "American Gothic" (uima.uiowa.edu). He was part of the American Regionalism Art Movement which depicted realistic small town scenes in art (oxfordreference.com).
