This is an interior portion of the Wyatt Earp Experience exhibit in the Boyhood Home museum of the Pella Historical Society. It documents the life of famed gunslinger Wyatt Earp as he lived in Pella during the middle of the 19th century while he was very young. Earp came to Pella with his family at a young age and departed to the western United States when he was sixteen years old. The museum was established in the home that Earp lived in during this time period and works to examine the impact that rural Iowa life had on such a prominent figure in American popular historical imagination.
